Following on from the exceptionally well received Phase 1 Promenade Upgrade, MTA's proposal for the upgrading of the promenade from the Moses Mabhida Stadium underpass through to Blue Lagoon has been approved.

 

Design and planning works are almost complete on this final phase of the overall beach promenade upgrade. 

This portion of works includes a revised road network with traffic calming, sea fortification, upgraded existing nodes, a new retail node, and the development of a new paddling pool node.
